A Generous Act of Kindness

The Al Fitrah team had the pleasure of meeting Brother Ziaudheen, a kind-hearted businessman from Chennai, India. Driven by compassion and thoughtfulness, he purchased two sets of Braille Qurans to gift his visually impaired friend. SubhanAllah, such a beautiful gesture!

We pray that his friend finds joy and guidance in reading the Quran. May Allah bless Brother Ziaudheen with success in his endeavours and reward his noble intention. Ameen.

Getting Connected for the Sake of the Visually Impaired

The Al Fitrah Team had the honour of hosting Maulana Shoeb Nakhuda from the Al-Qalam Vision Institute, UK, an organisation dedicated to empowering visually impaired students through Islamic education, including Quran reading, memorisation, and Aqidah.

Maulana shared inspiring stories, such as how a blind student found comfort in the Braille Quran, Alhamdulillah. He also introduced valuable tech tools like magnifier apps and Be My Eyes to support individuals with low vision.

Ustaz Askar has joined Nur-Mubarak University in Almaty as a lecturer in Islamic & Quranic Studies, educating both sighted and visually impaired students. His ongoing collaboration with Al Fitrah Foundation ensures continued Braille Quran and Primer production, supporting accessibility and education across Kazakhstan. His work will help graduates serve mosques and madrasahs, strengthening the legacy of inclusive learning.
