Al Fitrah Foundation received generous donations for its annual Ramadan Food Basket Program, supporting 100 visually impaired families in the Klang Valley. Braille Qurans for Students in Pakistan
More Braille Quran sets were recently presented by Maulana Waqar, President of the Braille Resource Foundation Pakistan (BRFP) to recipients in Thar and Sialkot, Pakistan. While some travelled to BRFP's Karachi office to collect their copies, others received their Braille Qurans in their own cities. Alhamdulillah.

Book Reading Session: "Strength from Within"
On 24 February 2025, Al Fitrah Foundation held a book reading session with visually impaired students from Setapak Secondary School. They focused on Strength from Within, written by Sa'diyya Nesar. The sitting, attended by 4 representatives of 3rd and 4th-grade students and 2 teachers, aimed to inspire and share the book’s powerful message.
They began with an introduction by a student supervisor of the School Resource Centre, followed by other attendees. The book tells the life journey of a disabled individual who draws strength from the stories of Prophets and Companions to navigate life’s challenges.
Completion of Braille Literacy Program for Visually Impaired Students
On February 18, 2025, the Sinerji International team from Turkey visited Abdul Majid and his team at the Al Fitrah Foundation. They shared the successful completion of a six-month Braille Literacy program at Noor Village, benefiting visually impaired students. The program included Braille lessons, along with teachings on Hadith, Fiqh, and Solat, as well as Qur'anic memorization. The commitment of the teachers was crucial to its success. Alhamdulillah.
