Al Fitrah Foundation’s latest initiative is to help support the refugee community in the Seri Kembangan area in Kuala Lumpur by contributing for the cost of setting up Klinik Pergigian Amal Muhajir.

By funding this clinic, we hope to help provide the best dental care for the nearby refugee community hopefully help ease some burden for families or individuals receiving assistance.

Al Fitrah Foundation continues to assist families requiring funds to purchase food and other necessities via its food voucher program. This year, the contribution amount has been raised in order to help lift the financial burden faced by the families.

The monthly program, which is in its 3rd year, has helped over one hundred displaced families from Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan, Syria, Sudan, Somalia, Rohingya and Yemen, living in Malaysia.

Alhamdulillah, 2022 has been a year that's full of grey skies and rainbows. It showed us life in its full spectrum. We all had somewhat adjusted to the pandemic situation at the start of the year where everyone stayed vigilant, nonetheless. Health is the ultimate wealth.

Whilst some normality was achieved post COVID, more so towards the third quarter, it had wreaked much havoc in the process and changed our lives forever.

Gone But Not Forgotten

Al Fitrah lost two beloved trustees in the first quarter of this year. Almarhum Mat Rafi Mohd Zali and Haji Othman Mohd Isa played a pivotal role in the early days of Al Fitrah Foundation. Their commitment remained with the organisation until the end. May Allah accept all their good deeds and reward them with Jannah, Aamiin.

28 November 2022. Al Fitrah Foundation team visited Darul Kalam centre in Gombak, KL to dispose of its damaged Braille Qurans and other religious books.

The centre is under the purview of the Department of Islamic Religious Affairs, Federal Territory (JAWI). With the help of volunteers, they have been carrying out the disposal service of al-Qurans damaged by floods since 20 December 2021.
